The individual rooms and suites at Fairmont La Hacienda Costa del Sol have been meticulously crafted to exude a sense of contemporary coastal sophistication, while still embracing the area’s heritage. The resort feels bright, airy, and impeccably designed. The modern Spanish-inspired décor combines clean lines with warm, earthy tones, and the result is a feeling of calm and tranquility.

Spa & Wellness - Fairmont La Hacienda Costa del Sol
One of the resort’s most promising aspects is its wellness offering. At the time of writing (February 2025) the opening date of the spa is still to be confirmed, but although I haven’t yet had the opportunity to experience the spa firsthand, the facility appears to be something quite special, with its holistic approach to restoration for the mind and body.
In keeping with the character of the resort, I’m told the spa is to offer timeless treatments situated within modern facilities, and a personal, bespoke approach to ensure that every guest is catered for.
A traditional hammam, a rasoul room, a Finnish sauna, a steam bath, a Turkish bath, an outdoor swimming pool and a dynamic pool with hot and cold water immersion options, a hydrotherapy pool and a snow fountain are among the facilities I’m told are to be open to guests.
In addition, guests will have the choice of treatments by Subtle Energies, 111Skincare and BGC, as well as the exclusive service of Pedi:Mani:Cure Studio by Bastien Gonzalez®.
The resort certainly has the feel of an environment perfectly curated to promote relaxation and renewal. I am eager to return to explore this side of the resort in the future.
Golf
For golf enthusiasts, the nearby La Hacienda Golf Club is sure to impress, with its two renowned courses, Links and Heathland.
Remodelled and updated in 2021, La Hacienda features one of the only links-style courses in this part of Europe, where players enjoy spectacular views of the Mediterranean coastline along a two-kilometre stretch that finishes with several holes adjacent to the beach.
The La Hacienda Golf Academy is highly regarded, offering tailored coaching programmes and courses for aspiring golfers of all ages, situated within its extensive state-of-the-art training facilities. Golfers have at their disposal a range with bunkers, target greens and a teeing area,
The Sal Verde restaurant at La Hacienda Golf Club is an excellent choice for breakfast, coffee, lunch or drinks, with outdoor terraces overlooking the courses and the sea, while snack and drink menus are available at the halfway bar (Calma) and the chiringuito (Arena Bar) offers lunch and cocktails during the summer months.

Guests at Fairmont La Hacienda Costa del Sol have access to a fully equipped gym with various training areas, an outdoor area and a yoga studio, as well as the option of working exclusively with a personal trainer in a private training room.
For those in need of therapeutic care, the resort also promises an array of wellness services, including physiotherapy, tailored massages, and innovative recovery treatments designed to promote circulation and muscle relaxation. Outdoor activities such as guided coastal walks and paddleboarding excursions are also said to be available, encouraging guests to explore the area’s natural beauty while keeping active.
